Videoconferencing
Videoconferencing adds a video element to a telephone call or conference call. It has many applications but the most common one is to facilitate meetings which require the various parties to see each other without having to incur the expense in travel cost and time to meet in person. There are broadly two types of videoconferencing, desktop to desktop and room to room with telepresence describing a higher definition form of room to room videoconferencing. This directory is of room to room videoconferencing systems.
