Chicken Makkhani
Using cooked Tandoori Chicken as a base, this delicious dish has been popularised as butter chicken.
Ingredients

300 | | g | Tandoori chicken, previously cooked |
30 | | ml | tomato paste |
10 | | ml | minced ginger |
50 | | ml | cream |
5 | | ml | garam masala |
10 | | ml | coriander |
10 | | ml | lemon juice |
5 | | ml | cumin |
15 | | ml | ghee |
Method
Combine the tomato paste with 70 ml of water. Add all other ingredients, except the chicken and ghee, and mix.
Melt the ghee in a frying pan, and add the chicken and sauce mixture. Stir for a few minutes until the chicken is hot, and serve.
Note: Butter can be used instead of ghee.
